In the grove.

Things are going great and we are both working hard towards what we want. As well as spending as much time with out little guy as we can. He's done a few new things lately.. Like eating his toes, discovering his ears, held his bottle through a whole feeding, laughs hysterically, tries to talk but only screams "AaHhhH" for whats seems like hours and is trying his hardest to crawl around ( which I am surely not ready for). Mikie is teaching us both a lot about life and is changing us more as he grows.

life is going good but getting crazy!

Mike is doing really great at Domino's working for his step dad Scott. He is working really hard so that we can get our own place. It's so much better when you have your own place and space. Anyways.. Mike and I are excited about apartment searching in Gulf Breeze! The convenience will make life so much easier just by being closer to Pensacola Beach.



Now that I am working at Great Scott's :) which is the best job ever. I am cooking for the most part as well as other things.. Like cleaning the mens room. :| It's just hard being away from Mikie. I miss my little guy and I don't get to spend as much time as I am use to getting with him. I do get to see Mike more which has been nice since we haven't really got to spend much time together lately. Things will get better though as we get on a new schedule and move closer to where everything is.

Mikie went to the beach for the first time at 4 months old. Sarah and I lathered Mikie in sunscreen then sat under an umbrella on the beach. It was a windy day but beautiful out on the beach . Mikie was enjoying the outdoors and the unfamiliar sounds. I just wish his daddy could have been there to see him in his shades and hat in the wind!




Yesterday was a big and frightening day not only did I get up early and work I also had to take Mikie to the ER that evening. It was our first big scare and the first time Mikie he was sick. He was running a fever of 101.1 , coughing, runny nose, and throwing up. I felt so helpless for our little guy and It worried both Mike and I. One good thing we got out of the hospital trip was Mikie's weight! He's 15 lbs 10 oz.





They ran a few test that broke our hearts.. having to hear him cry was so hard. Thank God he's alright he just caught a cold. He was feeling better today when we got to the doctor s office because he was "talking" really loud and everyone could hear him! It was a relief that him feeling sick only lasted as long as it did. Now I can get some sleep!

Tomorrow makes 4 months!

Just wanted to post some pictures of Mikie in his cute little sleeper that nana got him! I can't believe that tomorrow he's going to be 4 months old! Time sure is flying by!

One year down, Forever to go!

Yesterday was our big 1 year! It turned out better than I thought it would! Only because the day before I was completely sick with a stomach bug and Mike wasn't feeling well either. Despite us not feeling well we decided that we would go out to dinner anyways! It was just the three of us and it was so perfect. We sat by a window facing the sound, it's just to bad it was dark out! It was our first time eating lobster so we ordered a big one to split. We both didn't know what to do.. we had to ask the waitress! Mikie got a bit fussy so I sat him in my lap as we ate. He was doing great until he pulled my napkin which brought the butter knife and fork straight to the floor! It was the first time Mikie had pulled something off the table.. just reminded us of how big he's getting. I'm just so glad that it all worked out and we were both well enough to celebrate our big day! Next year I have even bigger plans for our 2 year.. I'm thinking a wedding on the Pensacola beach?

Mike and I bought our first car! It's a 96' Toyota Avalon. It looks brand new and it's got under 50k miles on it. It's perfect as our first car! We wanted a truck but we are going to wait till after this summer to get one.




Mike is getting ready to go out to Salt Lake to train for his technician job that he's doing over the summer in Dallas. I think we are both really excited about moving out to Texas. We are going to be able to gain our independence as a couple.



Mikie is growing up so fast! Each day he's either trying or doing something new. He's having baby conversations with me now, he starts laughing out of the blue too!
He's rolling from back to front and back again, and when he's on his tummy he scoots a little bit. He's always wants to be checking out his surroundings, and he wants to be sitting up at all times. His teeth still haven't come in but there almost there! Mikie loves being outdoors in the sun swinging with mommy.

He also loves cinnamon's sun glasses!
